What the calculator includes
The customs-value planning base combines goods value, origin costs, main freight, and insurance. Duty is applied to that planning value. The VAT base also includes duty and the entered destination handling, broker, and inland-delivery amounts. Treatment varies by transaction and destination, so replace the model with broker-confirmed rules before committing.
When a calculator is not enough
